Though no one likes criticism and public critique, by legally challenging these sites ultimately adds more attention to the physicians professional background history, and if the majority of posts are negative, it could lead to loss of patients/clientele for the physicians.
Doctor ratings should also be measured on a factual credential basis, therefore by reviewing the depth of a physicians professional profile, then comparing that profile to all other physicians within that particular specialty field, could also give you a good indication regarding the physicians, training, experience and ratings.
